These are the figures estimated for this installation, not metered results. What a site actually saves depends on its electricity supply contract and how much of its own generation it uses during the working day.

Comera Energy were engaged to design, supply and install the photovoltaic system for the new building hosting one of Oxford’s newest departments, the Blavatnik School of Government. The building was designed by Herzog & de Meuron Architects, formed as an irregular stack of circular blocks in glass and concrete.
That split-level circular design posed a number of challenges for the panel layout, along with shading issues thrown by the higher roof. We worked closely with the client to make sure the system worked technically but also aesthetically, since parts of it are overlooked by a roof terrace.
The system produces around 29,881 kWh a year, offsets 13,700 kg of CO₂, and saves roughly £7,620 annually — an estimated £190,500 across its lifetime — adding on-site renewable generation to one of Oxford’s most distinctive modern buildings.
